NDIS Supported Experiences
Medusa Charters offers tailored on-water experiences for participants supported under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
We provide a safe, inclusive, and flexible environment where participants can enjoy time on the water, whether for recreation, social engagement, or therapeutic benefit.
Each experience is designed around the individual’s needs, ensuring comfort, safety, and a positive experience from start to finish.
Accessible & Supported Experiences on the Water
Types of Experiences AvailableNDIS participants may access Medusa Charters for community access and social participation, supported recreational outings, small group or individual experiences, and time on the water with family, carers, or support workers, with all charters being private and tailored to align with each participant’s individual goals and support requirements.
Support & StaffingMedusa Charters provides a supported environment with qualified personnel, including experienced crew, current Blue Card holders, and a Registered Nurse available upon request. Participants may also attend with their own support workers, carers, or family members. All support requirements must be discussed prior to booking to ensure suitability.
NDIS Funding InformationMedusa Charters is not an NDIS-registered provider. Self-managed and plan-managed participants may be able to use funding for eligible supports, depending on their plan. We recommend confirming eligibility with your support coordinator or plan manager and ensuring alignment with your NDIS goals. Invoices can be provided upon request. Funding approval is not guaranteed.
Who This May Be Suitable ForSuitable for participants with goals related to social and community participation who can safely engage in a marine environment, with appropriate support if required. All bookings are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

These private tours provide a calm and flexible environment, allowing participants to enjoy time on the water in a way that suits their individual needs.
